PMUC SG1 Sherwin BabbCo 3ltr Container

SG1 is a translucent pink coupling gel (fluorescent under UV-A) with a semi-aqueous glycerin base.

• Specially developed to facilitate ultrasonic testing on construction sites and large surfaces.
• The specific gelling of the SG1 couplant ensures good adhesion to the parts due to be checked regardless of their position: NON Thixotropic; it is a semi-paste / semi-fluid, therefore very easy to spread and very adherent on vertical surfaces.
• The excellent wetting power of SG1 provides excellent acoustic transmission even on greasy and non-perfect degreased parts.
• SG1 has no corrosive effect on metals.
• SG1 also has no effect on paints, plastics and rubbers, however it should not be used on composites before repair.
• Usable from 0°C to 50°C without significant modification, it then becomes more and more liquid up to 80°C max. The viscosity increases with the evaporation of water.
